In order to connect your existing Magento website to Nembol you need to enable your website to work with a third party application. We are going to walk you through the configuration step by step.
- Login to your Magento web admin panel
- Create a new role
- Create a new user and assign the role
- Open Nembol and connect your Magento website
Login to your Magento web admin panel
Login with an admin role to your Magento website. Once you are logged, go to System → Web Services → SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles.
Create a new role
Select "Add a new role" and make sure to include "Catalog" among the resources this role is entitle to have access to. It will ensure that Nembol can correctly add products on your website.
Create a new user and assign the role
Go to System → Web Services → SOAP/XML-RPC - Users and select "Add a new user".
IMPORTANT – Choose a username and an API Key and write them down: you will need them to connect Nembol and your Magento website. Before saving, make sure to assign the role you previously created to this new user.
Open Nembol and connect your Magento website
You're all set! Now open Nembol, go to Channels, select Magento, and tap "Login". Use your Magento website URL, the username of the user you just created, and the API Key.
