What products can I list on Amazon?
In order to list a product on Amazon.com using Nembol, you'll need a valid barcode (UPC, EAN, or ISBN) that is already associated with an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number, a unique code Amazon uses to identify products). In other words, there must already be an existing product detail page in the Amazon catalog for the product you want to sell. When you scan a barcode and choose to publish on Amazon with Nembol, Amazon will search their database for a match. If one is found, your listing will be added to that page...so don't forget to scan the barcode! Your listing will stay on Amazon until you've sold the item, delisted it, or marked it as inactive.
What are open categories?
There are more than 20 "open" categories on Amazon, meaning you do not need Amazon's permission to list a product. However, there are also some categories that are only open to sellers with a Professional Selling Plan subscription and prior approval by Amazon. You can contact Amazon to request approval for these categories. Learn more about open categories here.
Are there any costs?
For a Professional Seller plan, Amazon charges $39.99 per month for unlimited products plus about 10% on sales. If you sell less than 40 items per month, you may opt for the Individual/Basic seller plan, which only charges a $0.99 listing fee; however, it doesn’t allow for the use of MWS, so you wouldn't be able to publish with Nembol.
Can I list on Amazon Handmade?
Unfortunately, Amazon Handmade has not released permission to publish products from a third party yet.
